The scheme

To be great at what we do, we need to be an adaptable, fast-learning organisation. Welcoming graduates into our teams helps to keep us focused on learning and new ideas, so our grads have a vital role to play in the company's future.

During the first month, you'll spend time gaining an understanding of how each area of the business operates and how they interconnect. You'll be assigned a mentor from the Senior Management Team to get your learning off to the best possible start.

In terms of the role itself, we are recruiting directly into 5 key business areas, so you'll have a real job from the start, embedded within a team of colleagues all geared up to show you the ropes.

In addition to your role responsibility, you will also become part of the graduate network, meeting regularly for learning sessions and professional development. As well as getting to know your peers, you'll be encouraged to enlist their help with client opportunities and challenges and form strong working relationships across teams and offices.

You'll be the driving force in deciding where you want your ambition to take you, but with plenty of support from us to get you there. We'll give you access to the people, tools and training to develop yourself and in return we'll count on you to work effectively with colleagues and deliver excellent, high quality work.

Although formal reviews take place after 6 months and one year, you will have weekly catch-ups with your line manager to talk about your immediate priorities and learning and fortnightly check-ins with your mentor to discuss your longer-term career development. So there will be plenty of opportunities to understand how you are doing and shape your progress through the business.

Selection Criteria

  • Ideally you'll have a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree from a top 60 university, but we'll consider a mixture of your secondary and higher qualifications as well as your work and personal experience.
  • You may be in your third year now, or you've graduated recently.
  • Or perhaps you've left university in the last 5 years and you're looking for structured training and development.
  • You might have attended university straight from school or you could be a mature student.
  • To be considered for our grad scheme you must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
