What we're looking for
We are looking for candidates in a range of roles, so the technical skills and personal strengths
required to do them will vary. But there are certain things we look for in all our people:
Appetite for learning
We take our collective learning and development very
seriously – in the fast-paced world of marketing this is essential to our success. And we don't
just want you to keep up – we want you to help us lead the way. Courses come in all shapes and
sizes at Signal from focused on-the-job coaching right through to major long-term professional
qualifications. All our people work with managers and mentors to create personal development plans,
which are regularly reviewed.
Open and friendly team working
You'll find more than your average 'people'
people among us! We work in fluid teams, combining our skills in different ways to tackle each unique
client challenge, so being open, friendly and a great team-worker is essential.
Are you ready to get to work?
If you really want to make a name for yourself, you'll
have a strong work ethic. We work hard, sometimes to tight deadlines under pressure. But we also know
how to have fun when the work is done!
You're bright, eager to learn and have a strong work ethic. You love solving problems and want to
impress our clients. You're not afraid to challenge or be challenged. You want to put your stamp on
things, without stamping over others. You have a sound academic record, but there's more to you
than just great grades. You're professional; you care about contributing to our growing success and
doing a good job, and you're serious about your career.
Are you prepared for a challenge?
We give our grads lots of responsibility early on.
You'll need to be keen to put your training and feedback into practice right away – solving
problems, staying organised, paying attention to details and quickly adapting to changing situations.
3 steps to becoming our next grad
Step 1 : Tell us all about yourself in our online application form.
Step 2 : If you sound like a good fit, you'll be invited to record a video
interview in your own time. We might give you a call to chat through some of your answers.
Step 3 : An assessment centre at our Cheltenham office. You'll meet members of the
Signal Board and Senior Management Team to show us what you've got.
